Mother (standing up, voice firm):

კმარა ლაპარაკი! ახლა ყველა მუშაობს. ნინო!

k'mara lap'arak'i! akhla q'vela mushaobs. nino!

"Enough talking! Now everyone works. Nino!"

Mother (pointing at Nino):

დახატე მარნის გეგმა! ვინ სად იდგა — ყველაფერი დახატე!

dakhat'e marnis gegma! vin sad idga — q'velaperi dakhat'e!

"Draw the marani plan! Who was standing where — draw everything!"

Mother (turning to Father):

შენ — დაწერე სია! ვინ მოვიდა, როდის მოვიდა, რა თქვა. ყველაფერი დაწერე!

shen — dats'ere sia! vin movida, rodis movida, ra tkva. q'velaperi dats'ere!

"You — write the list! Who came, when they came, what they said. Write everything!"

Nino (eyes widening):

დედა... "დახატე", "დაწერე" — ეს ხომ ისეთივეა, როგორც "დახატე" და "დაწერე" აორისტში!

deda... "dakhat'e", "dats'ere" — es khom isetivea, rogorc "dakhat'e" da "dats'ere" aoristshi!

"Mom... "დახატე", "დაწერე" — those are the SAME as the aorist "you painted" and "you wrote"!"

Mother (smiling):

ზუსტად! ბრძანება = აორისტი, მეორე პირი. იგივე ფორმაა!

zust'ad! brdzaneba = aorist'i, meore p'iri. igive pormaa!

"Exactly! Command = aorist, second person. It's the same form!"

Father (to Nino):

მაგრამ ფრთხილად — არ დაწერო ტყუილს! სიმართლე დაწერე!

magram prtkhilad — ar dats'ero t'q'uils! simartle dats'ere!

"But be careful — don't write lies! Write the truth!"

Nino (catching the pattern):

"დაწერე" — ბრძანება. "არ დაწერო" — აკრძალვა! ე იცვალა ო-თი!

"dats'ere" — brdzaneba. "ar dats'ero" — ak'rdzalva! e itsvala o-ti!

""Write!" — a command. "Don't write!" — a prohibition! The ე changed to ო!"

💡The aorist 2nd person forms you already know ARE the imperative. დაწერე means both "you wrote" AND "Write!" Context makes it clear. For negative commands ("Don't...!"), swap -ე to -ო: დაწერე → არ დაწერო. That's it — one vowel change.
