🎬 DiscoverThe rainy Sunday evening continues. Grandmother pulls out an old leather-bound photo album. The family gathers on the sofa.

Grandmother:

მახსოვს ეს დღე... ქორწილი იყო.

makhsovs es dghe... kortsili iq'o.

"I remember this day... It was a wedding."

Nino (daughter):

მიყვარს ეს ფოტო! დედა, რა ლამაზი ხარ.

miq'vars es p'ot'o! deda, ra lamazi khar.

"I love this photo! Mom, how beautiful you are."

Grandmother (starts humming an old melody):

გესმით ეს სიმღერა? ბაბუა ჩემი მღეროდა ხოლმე.

gesmit es simghera? babua chemi mgheroda kholme.

"Do you all hear this song? My grandfather used to sing it."

Father:

მახსოვს! გვიყვარდა მისი ხმა.

makhsovs! gviq'varda misi khma.

"I remember! We loved his voice."

Dato (son, 8):

მეც მიყვარს სიმღერა! კიდევ!

mets miq'vars simghera! k'idev!

"I also love singing! Again!"

💡Three more experiencer verbs! მიყვარს (I love), მახსოვს (I remember), გესმით (do you all hear?). Look at the beginnings: მი-ყვარს starts with მი- (same as მი-ნდა!), მა-ხსოვს starts with მა- (new!), გე-სმით starts with გე- (same as გე-შინია!). Same consonant base from Lesson 2-5, but now you see ALL three vowels: ი, ე, and ა.
